The graphics are nothing exciting, but he likes that he can create the train and the city, then have the train move on the tracks that he built. We run it on a Vista PC and have not had any problems. I tried installing it on our laptop that runs XP... and it just crashes. ...more

You drive your car from top down view with arrow keys, and you can pick up power ups such as boosts. The tracks are incredibly robust and fun. Also I like the ability to create your own tracks. You unlock track pieces as you play the game. Some of them as wild as giant fans that propel you upward. It is amazing to see your track when its finnished! And even more fun to race in. Overall a great game. 6 stars! ...more

There are no written instructions and I guess the little characters speak Japanese. My son and myself enjoy playing this game together. We managed to learn about some of the features by trial and error. For example, if some of the characters of your town do not have a destination, or a place of employment, they will wander around the train stations moping. The game starts with a blank canvas to set up a train track and scenery to go with it. When you are ready to see the city come to life there is a control center to start your trains moving.
