The book has a great deal of information about the Lego sets and special notes on many of them that otherwise would not be known. Excellant visuals and what comprises a Lego set i.e. number of pieces and how many people come with it. He loves it. I learned more than I could imagine going through the book with him. ...more

We ordered this for my Son's school, at the same time as we ordered the hardback version (LEGO Star Wars: The Visual Dictionary) for ourselves. They look to be identical except that this one does not include the mini-fig. As a result it also doesn't have the 1/4 inch spacer mat inside the front cover. As for content, there are a few pages at the front that are a listing of all the lego star wars sets. The story is comprised of short sentences that are easy to understand and recognize for early reading. The subject matter is excellent for young Lego fans. I have to constantly help him to build the models. I think if the images were colored he might have had a better chance of understanding.
