The other is all about the miniature figures. Our kids and I spent hours of fun reading it. The price in Amazon makes this book set a great buy. ...more

The book has a great deal of information about the Lego sets and special notes on many of them that otherwise would not be known. Excellant visuals and what comprises a Lego set i.e. number of pieces and how many people come with it. He loves it. I learned more than I could imagine going through the book with him. ...more

We ordered this for my Son's school, at the same time as we ordered the hardback version (LEGO Star Wars: The Visual Dictionary) for ourselves. They look to be identical except that this one does not include the mini-fig. As a result it also doesn't have the 1/4 inch spacer mat inside the front cover. As for content, there are a few pages at the front that are a listing of all the lego star wars sets. They give detailed instructions to make several items with the included legos. They also store nicely. They store like a book in the bookshelf. There is a box connected to the hard back book, and they all store nicely. My son plays with these almost every day. He has had them almost a month. So, for Christmas we sent him a book of Lego. Went down very well, and our nephew has been happily playing and creating to his heart's content. Since it is published and mostly sold in the UK, he had never seen it or heard of it. He loved it, especially charmed by the Legos blocks on the side. I found this book to be an enormous help. It is very thorough, from the history of LEGO beginnings all the way to the future of LEGO bricks. The design of the book is really great, it includes reprinted catalogs from the past as well as other bits of history. If you are a fan of LEGO, I highly suggest purchasing this book to go with your LEGO collection. ...more
