In this story there is a bank robbery, and the police with the help of a few citizens, must catch the criminals. The illustrations are bright and vibrant. This is a great book in a great series. The Leveled readers are great books for young children. There are hundreds of titles in these formats, even across different publishers. They give detailed instructions to make several items with the included legos. They also store nicely. They store like a book in the bookshelf. There is a box connected to the hard back book, and they all store nicely. My son plays with these almost every day. He has had them almost a month. I wasn't sure I would enjoy Lego Batman, but it's LEGOS! Lego Batman challenges your mind to solve puzzle like scenarios, which I prefer. The value of this book is not in the number of documented designs, but how it teaches you the process to come up with your own designs. It even does it in a much more entertaining way then my engineering classes did. Understanding the design process allows you to create any number of robots that do what you want them to do and this is an invaluable life skill. That is what this book teaches you.
